Less roofline in Olive Chapel, so the design goes vertical

The newer homes and townhomes around Olive Chapel come with a constraint the older streets do not have: there is simply less roofline to work with. A package built around eaves and rakes has less to say on a townhome, and since roofline is priced by the foot, the obvious approach manages to underwhelm and still cost money.

So we go vertical instead — columns, porch posts, peaks — and bring the yard into the design. That is where the pop comes from on a smaller footprint, and it gets there without the price of a full roofline package.

We also design interiors. If your home does not give you much exterior to look at, or you spend more of the season looking out at the neighbourhood than driving up to your own house, the same attention goes indoors instead.
