ABC11 reported in December 2025 that it started during the pandemic and has grown every year, with lights through the trees, light-up balls and bikes, mini-tree mailboxes and decorated lamp posts along the block. It raised over $30,000 for Triangle Spokes Group, which provides bikes and helmets for kids. It is best seen on foot, and visitors park at The Shoppes at Bedford.
